Linux Administrator

We are seeking skilled and proactive Linux Administrators to manage, monitor, and maintain our Linux-based systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, security, performance, and availability across all Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers and systems (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
• Monitor server health and performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Perform routine system updates, patching, and security hardening.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and file systems.
• Configure and manage services such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL, DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH, etc.
• Troubleshoot server issues related to hardware, software, network, and performance.
• Set up and manage virtual machines, containers (Docker), or cloud instances (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures.
• Maintain system logs and perform regular audits.
• Support developers and cross-functional teams by ensuring smooth server operations.

Required Skills & Experience:-

• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
• Hands-on experience with server administration, scripting (Bash/Python), and automation.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, SSH, firewalls).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
