Job Description

6+ Experience in installation configuration troubleshooting on RHEL, Ubuntu and AWS Linux. Should have good knowledge on file transfer protocols (SFTP,NFS and SAMABA ) Strong expertise Logical Volume Manager Administration and troubleshooting Good knowledge about the Linux system files, boot process and Run levels. Exposure to ticketing, monitoring, and patching tool Knowledge of Red Hat management and provisioning solutions. Unix Administration skills, clear concepts of LVM, User Management & Operating system. Troubleshooting on filesystem & user access related issues. Understanding & experience working on DNS, NTP, Postfix and BIND Should be dynamic for managing workloads and working under pressure Should handle customer escalation and meetings Should have experience in ITIL processes Good written and verbal communication skills AWS / cloud knowledge would be added advantage good leadership qualities with the ability to review & evaluate the work of a team & individuals within it. Performing scheduled maintenance & re-structuring tasks designed to improve performance & maximize available resources. Ability to work on multiple incidents & complete simultaneous projects in a timely manner. Should be able to manage escalation received from L1/L2 or directly from Enterprise customers. Diagnose problems, recommend & implement solutions as necessary. Serve as the point of contact for medium to complex issues impacting company IT operations. Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement, problem resolution & workflow improvements Adhere to the Change Management process, including presenting change requests with sufficient clarity to allow the appropriate authority to understand the reason for the change, the associated risk, the ease of regression & the implications of making or not making the change. To provide on-job training for new staff joining the team. Familiarity with IT standards like ISO 27001 Good English (Oral & Written)
