Role Overview: As a Sr. Lighting Designer at Keus, you will play a crucial role in creating lighting layouts in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Dialux, or EVO, and developing lighting BOQs to support the Sales/Technical team. Your expertise in lighting technicalities, terminologies, and software tools will be essential in delivering impeccable lighting designs that align with Keus" design-first approach. Key Responsibilities: - Ability to create lighting concept presentations. - Develop lighting drawings on CAD or sketches based on plans, elevations, sections, and details. - Manage and coordinate application design with clients and third parties, as well as internally. - Calculate luminous output and intensity of the lighting system, create layout plans, work drawings, and document lighting applications. - Edit 3D renderings to demonstrate simulated lighting scenes of the design intent. - Research new lighting solutions and innovations. - Conduct lighting simulations using Dialux Evo & Photoshop for presentations, reports, project requirements, and design validation. - Manage lighting projects and coordinate site activities. - Coordinate projects with Architects, Designers, and Clients both on-site and remotely. - Supervise the installation of light fixtures to meet client expectations when required. Key measures of success: - Maintaining strong relationships with architects. - Delivering flawless designs. - Adhering to the design philosophy. - Meeting deadlines consistently. - Demonstrating design thinking excellence. - Presenting innovative lighting design ideas. - Collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team. Qualifications: - Education: Completed university education (diploma/bachelor/master) in lighting design or architecture preferred. - Experience: Minimum of three years of professional experience in lighting design and/or architecture, preferably in a studio environment. - Software Skills: Proficient in Adobe CC (especially InDesign & Photoshop), AutoCAD, Dialux, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of Rhino and Revit is advantageous.
