As a Senior Software Development Consultant at Capgemini, you will be part of the Experience Engineering team, contributing your talent and expertise gained from 6 to 12 years of experience in the field. The team focuses on working with cutting-edge technologies such as XR, ML, robotics, and IoT across various industries like architecture, automotive, retail, entertainment, and games. Utilizing the Unity engine, you will be involved in developing custom software solutions that cater to a wide range of technical domains. Your role will involve leading small teams of 2-5 engineers to create and deploy high-quality games and applications. Collaborating with clients, engineering managers, designers, project managers, and quality analysts, you will drive the development of best-in-class interactive experiences. From concept to implementation, you will play a significant role in managing technical direction, product life-cycle, and problem-solving to ensure exceptional outcomes. To excel in this position, you must possess a proven track record of delivering products using Unity and C#, a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, and effective communication skills for client interactions. Experience in games, AR/VR, mobile apps, and desktop applications is essential, as well as the ability to devise innovative solutions for complex challenges. Furthermore, familiarity with game console development (Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox), proficiency in data modeling and UML, and expertise in tech art such as developing shaders or modeling and lighting scenes are additional qualifications that would be advantageous in this role.
