About the Role: We are looking for a talented Residential Lighting Designer to create stunning, functional, and energy-efficient lighting solutions for homes. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and an understanding of interior design principles to enhance living spaces through lighting. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop customized lighting plans for residential interiors, considering aesthetics, functionality, and efficiency. - Collaborate with homeowners, architects, and interior designers to achieve the desired ambiance and practical lighting effects. - Select and recommend lighting fixtures, technologies, and control systems that fit within budget and design specifications. - Create lighting layouts and renderings using software like AutoCAD, Dialux, or Revit. - Oversee installations, conduct site visits, and ensure all lighting designs comply with electrical and safety regulations. Requirements: - Experience in residential lighting design or interior design with a focus on lighting. - Proficiency in lighting design software and strong knowledge of LED technology, smart lighting, and energy-efficient solutions. - Understanding of color temperature, layering techniques, and lighting control systems.
