The Manager – IT & Digital Transformation will lead and optimize Lifecare’s technology ecosystem, including LIMS (Lab Information Management System), call centre & CRM systems, digital platforms (website & app), and AI-driven transformation initiatives. The role also carries responsibility for cybersecurity, patient data protection, and IT product development. The candidate must have practical experience in LIMS master data configuration, test mapping, and workflow setup. ⸻ Key Responsibilities 1. Lab Information System (LIMS) & Pathology/Radiology Workflows • Manage the daily functioning, uptime, and accuracy of the LIMS. • Perform and oversee Master Data Entry such as: • Creation and mapping of test codes, panels, profiles • Linking method, machine, department, TAT, sample type • Rate master & corporate package mapping • Reference ranges and result validation logic • Barcode and label configurations • Manage Test Mapping for: • Pathology analyzers (biochemistry, immunoassay, hematology, etc.) • Radiology report templates and PACS integration • API interfaces to third-party applications (Teleradiology, Health Apps, Corporate Portals) • Conduct UAT testing, updates, rollouts, and end-user training. • Maintain audit logs, workflow checks, and regulatory compliance for NABL. 2. Call Centre Platform, CRM & Patient Engagement • Manage call centre routing, IVR flows, ticketing, and communication dashboards. • Ensure CRM segmentation, accurate lead funnels, and automated communication journeys. • Deploy programs for repeat patients, recall reminders, loyalty & membership engagement. 3. Website & Mobile App • Oversee development, performance, SEO, UI/UX improvements, and online conversions. • Manage feature enhancements in the patient portal and mobile app. • Use analytics to drive continuous improvement in digital patient journeys. 4. Digital Transformation & AI Initiatives • Identify and implement automation and AI-based solutions for: • Clinical workflow optimization • Customer service automation (chatbots/WhatsApp AI) • Predictive preventive wellness analytics • Lead digital-first process standardization across departments. 5. Product Management • Act as Product Owner for new internal IT projects. • Gather requirements, create scope documents, manage timelines, UAT, and SOP rollouts. • Manage vendor selection, negotiation, contracts, and performance tracking. 6. Cybersecurity & Patient Data Protection • Implement and enforce IT security protocols across all systems. • Ensure patient data privacy across internal operations and external integrations. • Maintain controlled access (RBAC), encryption, MFA, VPN, and secure backups. • Conduct periodic security audits, penetration testing, and incident response drills. • Ensure adherence to industry standards: ISO 27001 principles, NABL data integrity, and Indian Data Protection compliance. 7. IT Infrastructure Oversight • Ensure reliable LAN/WAN connectivity, server & cloud uptime, device support, remote access operations, CCTV, and biometric systems. ⸻ Required Skills & Competencies • Hands-on expertise in LIMS/LIS Master Settings & Test Mapping (MANDATORY). • Knowledge of radiology, pathology and diagnostic workflows. • Familiarity with HL7/FHIR, API integrations, interface mapping (preferred). • Experience with cybersecurity principles and data privacy frameworks. • Strong documentation, troubleshooting, analytical, vendor & team coordination skills. ⸻ Qualifications • BE/BTech (CS/IT) or MCA or equivalent IT degree. • 4–10 years of experience in healthcare IT (Mandatory LIMS experience). • Certifications in networking or cybersecurity (preferred but not required). ⸻ KPIs / Success Measures • Timely and accurate implementation of test master settings & updates. • Reduced workflow errors and faster turnaround times (TAT). • Improved patient digital engagement and CRM-driven repeats. • Zero security breaches and compliance adherence. • Successful deployment of new digital features and automation projects.
