We are a well-established commercial trucking consulting company with operations in Canada and the USA. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our Ludhiana team and help maintain high standards in Safety and Compliance within the Trucking Industry in both countries. As part of our team, you will be responsible for various tasks, including working with a team of five to ten individuals, ensuring compliance with US FMCSA/DOT and Canada's national safety code regulations, overseeing fleet and driver files, managing qualification renewals, assisting with claim management through insurance, and supporting the driver hiring process to ensure regulatory and company qualifications are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring driver Hours of Service, conducting audits to ensure policy compliance, assisting with incident investigations, managing CVOR events, and monitoring driver qualification files. You will also play a role in driver retention, handling driver complaints, managing licensing for commercial trucks and trailers, and assisting with various permit renewals. To excel in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, knowledge of HOS and DOT regulations, good time management, and organizational skills. Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF, and PowerPoint is essential. Familiarity with Samsara and related software is a plus, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines effectively. Candidates with experience in transportation management systems and a general understanding of North American regions will be preferred. Fluency in English and Punjabi is required, as well as availability for night and overnight shifts. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation management systems is required. This is a full-time, permanent position with evening, fixed, and night shifts, along with weekend availability. The job is not remote and requires in-person work at the specified location.
