Job Title: Library Officer (School Experience Only) Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and organized Library Officer with prior experience working in a school setting. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in managing a school library, maintaining records, supporting students and staff in accessing learning resources, and promoting a reading culture across all grades. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations of the school library. Maintain records of books issued, returned, and overdue. Organize and catalogue new acquisitions using library management systems. Assist students and teachers in locating and using library resources. Promote reading habits through book clubs, reading challenges, and displays. Ensure the library is a quiet, orderly, and welcoming environment. Coordinate with academic staff to support curriculum-based reading material. Qualifications: Graduate with Diploma in Library Science or equivalent qualification. Minimum 2 years of experience in a school library setting (mandatory). Familiarity with library software and basic computer skills.
