Job Title : Lead Engineer Structures (Steel) Job Location : Pune Experience : 8-10 Years Education : ME / M.Tech (Structures) / BE / B.Tech (Civil) Employment Type : Full Time Job Description: The candidate will serve as a Lead Engineer Structures (Timber), bringing substantial proficiency in Structural design, managing works and clients within the Industrial domain business for Lektus. He shall be backed by a proficient team of engineers specializing in the Structural Engineering domain, primarily stationed at the Lektus Infrastructure office in Pune. We require an experienced Lead Engineer – Structures (Timber) with a demonstrable history of spearheading design initiatives within the Industrial business domain. Roles & Responsibilities: Analysis and Design of Timber Structures, Wooden Structures and LGMF Structures Experience working on USA-based design projects, familiar with U.S. building codes such as ACI, ASCE, and AISC Performed Structural Analysis and Design for the structural elements such as Wood Stud walls, wood columns, wood Beams, wood Lintel beams, wood Deck, wood Joists, Steel stud wall, steel columns, steel beams, steel joists, steel deck, Reinforced concrete footings & concrete masonry walls. Undertaking static & dynamic computer aided analysis of structures for different load cases and designing structural elements for critical load Coordinating with Architects, Site Engineers and Service Engineers (MEP) for proper & suitable structural system Preparation of BOQ’s, Tender Documents etc. Performing design, detailing and checking of General Arrangement Drawings Coordinating with contractors and project managers Performs all functions as reviewer and approver of documents for the projects. Takes initiatives for successful delivery of projects within the department under minimum guidance. Responsible for maintaining quality and consistency of all civil engineering technical documents. To provide and maintain an estimate for design works needed to deliver the design. To provide visible leadership and governance in engineering delivery. Required Skills: Excellent domain knowledge of Design of Timber Works. Understanding of Project requirements like productivity/ schedule workhour control etc. Knowledge in International Codes and Practices and global engineering standards. Collaborative Skills with Clients, Stakeholders, Project Management and Design Teams. Good Spoken English and written English is essential. Should have a valid passport. Software Skills: STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ProjectWise Forte WEB ERNCAL MS Office Suite
