The role of Vice President and Manager Capital Reporting with a leading global firm in Mumbai requires a minimum of 6+ years of experience for the Manager position. The designation for this role ranges from Manager to VP, with specific experience requirements for each level - 6+ years for Manager, 8+ years for AVP, and 12+ years for VP. The ideal candidate must have expertise in Leverage Ratio, RWA Calculations, and Basel regulations. Responsibilities for this role include producing key capital adequacy metrics in accordance with Basel III rules. This involves calculating standardized approaches for counterparty credit risk, market risk, settlement risk, and capital deductions. Additionally, the role involves responding to queries and requests from business and management stakeholders, performing Large Exposure calculations as per CRDIV and Basel III norms, analyzing RWA movements, and identifying optimization opportunities. Furthermore, the role requires the development of daily Management Information (MI) using modern BI tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau. The candidate will also interact with Risk Management to validate risk inputs, as well as collaborate with other teams including IT, Operations, LE Controllers, and Legal departments. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for defining business requirements for IT implementation in the case of new projects or process enhancements. The ideal candidate for this role should possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements related to capital reporting, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data and information required for report preparation. Review and validate calculations to ensure accuracy. Desired Candidate Profile 5-10 years of experience in banking industry with focus on capital reporting or related fields (Basel, Capital Adequacy, etc.).
