As a Senior Associate/Assistant Manager in the Trade Support department of BNP Paribas Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the control of cancelled, amended, and late booked trades through the CCA tool. Your role will involve identifying and controlling Cancelled/Amend/Late booked deals, liaising with relevant parties to understand the reasons behind these actions, investigating alerts and breaches thoroughly, escalating issues appropriately, and ensuring resolution. The Cancel & Amend team, within the AnC function of the COCE- Product Control department, plays a crucial role in monitoring alerts related to Amend & Cancel patterns, ensuring timely allocation of trades, and escalating exceptions when necessary. You will collaborate with different teams to independently control alerts, monitor actions of various trading teams, provide daily reporting to the Anti-Fraud team, handle high volume mails, and conduct monthly statistical reporting and KPI management. Your responsibilities will also include collating and analyzing data, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies, legislation, and regulations, identifying control gaps, making recommendations for improvements, presenting reports to business management, compliance, and global head of fixed income operations, providing ad-hoc management reporting, and submitting analyzed alerts for sign-off. Additionally, you will be responsible for final validation and closing of alerts, controlling the use of technical counterparty codes, updating procedures, and ensuring completion of tasks by the team. To excel in this role, you must possess good knowledge of financial market products, IT skills including Excel and PowerPoint, a background in middle office/trade support, strong written and verbal communication skills, flexibility with shift timings, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in MS PowerPoint. Desirable skills include the ability to manage and lead others, good networking skills, and a proactive approach to fostering a culture of good conduct. In this position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to detailed analysis, provide second-level escalation for BAU, and support the development of team members. As a seasoned lead for the CIO office Business Management function in Mumbai within Client Engagement & Protection IT at BNP Paribas, your role will be crucial in overseeing operational, strategic, financial, and governance functions supporting the CIO office and wider IT leadership of CEP IT. You will need strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills to liaise with senior leadership in India and Paris, driving support services and strategic initiatives.
