Position Summary: We are seeking a Parts Engineer who will be responsible for the inventory or spare and replacement parts management for Aeroderivative Gas turbines globally. The candidate is an engineer with inter-disciplinary understanding of Mechanical/Electrical/ Instrumentation & Controls. The position is based in India and involves collaboration with Siemens Energy in the USA and the UK. Prior to the start of work, all the relevant tools and process training will be provided. This position would require flexibility and a great attitude towards learning. A Snapshot of your Day How You'll Make an Impact (responsibilities of role) Research Problem Reports (Typical small-scale tasks/projects requiring Parts engineering work and support) Contact OEMs & Suppliers, clearly understand what there is in their scope and what is outside the scope. Work with internal Siemens Energy groups (i.e. Supply Chain, Parts Application Engineers, and Parts Definition Engineers) to gather information on Problem Reports Prepare Datasheets/ Specification forms, Comparison sheets, need to research available for existing part in project archives in EDA portal, project folder and PLM for a detailed description of parts and systems. Need to Obsolete the earlier part if we are replacing the part clearly mentioning the difference in form, fit and function including certification details. Creation of SPIRs (Spare parts interchangeability reports) for various systems in an Aeroderivative Gas turbine project. This is extra workload and is not typical work however, we only do this at customer request. What You Bring (required qualification and skill sets) Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation & controls with experience of at least 8-10 years in the oil and gas industry and/or power generation industry. Knowledge of various systems like Lube oil system, Air system, Instrumentation system, control system and hydraulic system. Knowledge of various instruments- pressure gauge, level gauge, temperature sensors, flowmeter. Experience in Gas Turbine products, Aero engine products would be preferrable. Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens control systems, Siemens AGT products and packages would be preferrable. Positive Mindset and proactive nature would be highly appreciated. Detail-oriented skills to ensure all parts of a solution come together and work as intended Proficiency with tools such asMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Salesforce, PLM2020, and OnePM. Candidates should demonstrate the ability tocollaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams(mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) and communicate technical concepts clearly and professionally. Analytical Skills:Use your analytical prowess to foresee potential issues with suggested part by OEM's. Excellent Communication & Multilingual Skills:Excellent communication skills, especially in dealing with suppliers and team members from different regions who may or may not be proficient in English. Multitasking:Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to ensure smooth operations. Role & responsibilities Inspects tests, adjusts, and repairs electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic instruments and systems used to indicate, record, and control generating operations in conventional process plant: Inspects meters, indicators, and gauges to detect abnormal fluctuations. Tests accuracy of flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators, controllers or detectors, and other recording, indicating or controlling instruments to locate defective components in system, using test equipment, such as pressure gauges, mercury manometers, potentiometers, pulses, load cell, PID Controller, PH Meter, Level Gauge & Level Transmitter. Prepares schematic drawings, sketches, and reports to reflect changes or alterations made in instruments, circuits, and systems. Remove defective instruments from system, decontaminates, disassembles, and cleans instruments, and replaces defective parts, using hand tools. Reassembles instruments and replaces instruments in system, using hand tools. Lubricates instruments and replaces defective wiring and tubing. Calibrates readings on instruments according to standards and adjusts phasing and aligns stages to ensure accuracy of recording and indicating function. Records calibrations made, parts and components used, and inventory of parts on hand. Responsible for EHS & RC Related compliance. Preferred candidate profile Technical knowledge of field instruments like flow meter, flow switches, control valves Working knowledge Emerson / Yokogawa DCS, Programable Logic Controller based chemical manufacturing plant.

Plan and deliver impactful product presentations to potential clients and consultants , highlighting product range, competitive pricing, and technical benefits. Visit clients and consultants regularly to generate leads, conduct product demos, and convert opportunities into sales . Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as per company goals. Maintain consistent engagement with customers, end users, and consultants to ensure satisfaction and sustained business. Gather customer application insights and communicate with Head Office for product customizations or improvements. Coordinate with the HO for timely dispatch of products and collection of payments . Conduct competition analysis to identify market trends and new business opportunities. Expand the client base by winning over competitors customers and tapping into new market segments. Candidate Profile: Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Metallurgy. Experience: 4 - 8 years in Sales & Marketing , preferably in Valves, Level Gauges, or Process Industries . Technical aptitude and interest in selling industrial/engineering products. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with a go-getter attitude and passion for customer engagement. Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region. Your main tasks will include plant start-up and stop, loading air to the cold box, and operating various equipment following standard procedures. You will coordinate with service departments for trouble-free operation and ensure the safe start-up of individual equipment. Your duties will also involve installation, testing, and maintenance of instruments like pressure gauges, level gauges, and transmitters. Monitoring and controlling parameters in the DCS system, handling shift operations, and solving breakdown problems will be part of your daily routine. You will be required to handle emergency situations, perform chemical treatment of cooling towers, and commission rotating equipment. Ensuring consistent production schedules, timely job allocation, and effective team management will be your principal accountabilities. You are expected to have 8-12 years of relevant experience and proficiency in areas like process knowledge, planning and monitoring, safety compliance, team management, and business acumen.
