About the Role We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Customized Cake Chef to join our team in Mumbai! If you love baking and decorating cakes that bring a smile to people’s faces — from elegant counter cakes to fully customized designs for birthdays, weddings, and special occasions — this role is for you. You'll be at the heart of our dessert offering, combining creativity, technique, and flavor to deliver memorable cakes and desserts every day. What You’ll Be Doing Create a variety of customized cakes based on client requirements — from design to flavor. Bake and decorate counter/display cakes and mini desserts for our daily offerings. Handle custom orders with attention to detail, creativity, and time management. Suggest and test new ideas for cakes and seasonal offerings. Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely and smooth execution of orders. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the pastry section. Manage ingredients and prep to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. What We’re Looking For 2–3 years of hands-on experience in cake making and decorating. Strong skills in cake finishing techniques: fondant work, buttercream, piping, coloring, and creative designs. Ability to interpret client briefs and turn them into beautiful, customized cakes. Experience working with different types of desserts is a plus (tarts, mousses, plated desserts, etc.). Great attention to detail, creativity, and consistency. Good organizational skills and ability to manage time and deadlines. Team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
