JOB TITLE: Lean Engineer Dept: Operations- Industrial Engineering Job Summary: If you have a fresher or 2-3 years of experience in Lean activities, LESER has an excellent role for you. The Lean Engineer supports the business by improving the process, removing non-value added activities. 2. Responsibility & Authority: 1. Having knowledge of various lean tools. 2. Should be familiar with TPM. 3. Having exposure to Kaizens, 5S, Quality Improvement programs. 4. Familiar with time and motion study, Cycle time/ Tact time/ Throughput time, SMED, Wastes within process. 5. Deploy visual management and 5S across the shop floor. 6. Communicate best practices throughout the organization. 7. Collect and report progress on action plans. 8. Initiate and lead the Kaizen events. 9. Maintain and report all progress data 3 . Knowledge required: Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work. Business Processes. 4. Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Presentation Sound Computer skills 5. Behavioural Factors: Traits, attitudes, personal characteristics required to perform the job effectively. Job requirements: Education required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular). SAP / Tally Experience required : 2-3 years
