The Front Office Executive will thereafter be responsible in his/her shift for all Front Office (FO) operations including reservations, reception, bell desk, etc. The daily job responsibilities would include: Convey a high level of understanding of the importance of attending to details & ensure accuracy by verifying work against standards or input of others. Handle challenging situations with guests diplomatically. Take extra steps to ensure work was completed despite a lack of cooperation from others. Pursue increased responsibility Maintain a high level of output and quality regardless of the task load. Take initiative and act quickly to deliver projects in a professional manner. Take action to ensure overall success of department / organization. Maintain an organized system to ensure that processes are getting completed on time Preparing duty schedule/shifts and taking daily briefing Billing of courier, transportation, newspaper Preparing reports-DBR, GSTS, ROB, Comparison Maintain reservation and room position control with sales Coordinate with other departments - HK, Engg, F&B, and Accounts Looking after the working condition of equipment at FO Control FO cash / IOU clearance Taking handover from previous shift Assigning rooms for the arrivals. Conduct the check-in /check-out procedure as per the established standards of the company C form deposits Monitoring the house position, room reservations and room blockings (current and next shift) Controlling the allocation of hotel cars Ensuring that front office related statutory norms are met Ensuring approved billing, cashiering and accounting practices are followed Ensuring that guest complaint is promptly resolved to the entire satisfaction of the guest Constantly update his/her self on regular customer preferences, technical knowledge and skills. In addition, to also help new colleagues in climbing the learning curves quickly.
