Transparent reasoning: Every AI recommendation comes with confidence scores and explainable logic. Deep legal workflow integration: Including Microsoft Word add-ins for seamless redlining, risk analysis, and playbook management Join us to help deliver the last piece of legal tech for in-house legal teams. Role Overview We’re hiring a Product Manager – Legal Tech Domain Expert who will lead the roadmap and execution of our AI-powered contract automation platform and evaluation. You will: Define, own, and drive forward complex product initiatives, taste and evaluation —from ideation through launch and iterative improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, legal experts, and in-house customers to allow customers to build legal workflow challenges. Shape product strategy, feature scope, prioritization, pricing, and go-to-market for LegalGraph’s core offerings. Campion clarity, fairness, and accuracy by designing features that deliver transparent, explainable AI outputs that legal teams trust. Build with agility: rapidly prototype, get feedback from pilot customers (especially in-house legal teams), iterate fast and empower every lawyer you touch to become a lawyer engineer. As an early-stage startup, your decisions will be highly visible—impacting product direction, commercial value, and customer trust. What You’ll Do Own product lifecycle with evaluation: Lead the journey from concept through discovery, legal specific evaluation, launch, and iteration. Engage the market: Partner closely with in-house counsel and transactional legal teams—conduct interviews, pilot tests, capture feedback—to continuously refine product direction. Define product vision: Craft and evolve our capabilities by evolving core building blocks of playbook-driven features, integrations, clause comparators, risk detection tools, confidence-scoring UI, and more. Drive commercial strategy: Support pricing models, packaging, and value messaging targeted at legal departments and enterprise legal teams. Collaborate deeply: Work side by side with founders, engineering, operations, and legal stakeholders to scale the product and team. What You Have (Mandatory) Domain expertise in legal tech: Deep understanding of contract review, CLMs, redlining, legal workflows, and how legal teams operate. Experience working with in-house legal teams: You’ve collaborated directly with corporate counsel or legal ops to understand pain points and build for them. 3+ years in product management (with preference for experience in enterprise SaaS or AI-powered workflows). Strong technical fluency—able to engage meaningfully with product/engineering decisions around NLP, AI models, UI, integration, and UX. Excellent communicator—balancing qualitative user feedback and quantitative data to inform product decisions. Comfort with ambiguity—first hires at startups must roll up their sleeves across product, UX, support, and GTM. Proven ability to ship impactful enterprise-grade software products. Bonus Points Early-stage startup experience (scaling product orgs from zero). Background at top-tier legal tech or enterprise product companies. Hands-on experience with AI/LLMs (LLM prompt engineering, model evaluation, interpretability). Compensation Competitive compensation in line with early-stage tech startups (equity + salary).
