Legal Faculty

As a Legal Faculty / Law Professor at our esteemed institution, your role will involve teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate law courses, conducting research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and institutional development. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver lectures and lead discussions on core and elective law subjects like Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Civil Procedure, Corporate Law, etc. - Design and regularly update curriculum in compliance with academic and regulatory standards. - Supervise student research projects, moot court participation, and internships. - Develop and assess student assignments and exams with fairness and rigor. - Conduct scholarly research and publish in reputed academic journals. - Participate in faculty meetings, academic planning, and institutional initiatives. - Provide academic and career guidance to students. - Promote legal ethics, critical thinking, and social responsibility within the classroom. - Engage in legal aid camps, workshops, or community outreach activities where applicable. Qualifications and Requirements: - LL.M. or Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university (Ph.D. preferred for senior faculty). - Teaching experience in a law school or university setting is highly desirable. - Strong grasp of legal theory, recent developments in law, and teaching methodologies. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Passion for teaching, mentoring, and academic leadership. Preferred Skills: - Research and publication record in national or international law journals. - Practical experience in legal practice, judiciary, or consultancy is an asset. - Familiarity with modern teaching tools and online learning platforms. - Participation in legal research projects or curriculum development work. Please note that the selection process will consist of two demo lectures. The first demo lecture will be on a topic of your choice related to the legal curriculum, while the second demo lecture will be on a topic provided by us to assess your adaptability and research skills. Your performance in both demo lectures will determine your salary in the range of 500 to 1200 per session/hour. This is a Contractual / Temporary, Freelance position with a contract length of 8 months. You will be required to have weekend availability and work in person at our locations in Preet Vihar and Rajouri Garden. English language proficiency is preferred for this role.,
