We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Executive to support the day-to-day shipping operations within our technical management division. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring efficient vessel operations, compliance with international maritime regulations, and effective coordination between ship and shore teams. This is a key position that supports the technical and commercial performance of managed vessels. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and monitor daily vessel operations, ensuring compliance with company procedures, flag state, and international maritime regulations (e.g., IMO, MARPOL, SOLAS). Liaise with shipmasters, superintendents, and port agents to ensure smooth port calls, crew changes, bunkering, and supply arrangements. Assist technical superintendents with maintenance planning, dry-docking schedules, and repair coordination. Maintain and update vessel documentation, including certificates, reports, and logs. Track and analyze vessel performance metrics (fuel consumption, speed, emissions) and report variances. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of ship spares, provisions, and other operational supplies. Support the implementation of Safety Management System (SMS), ISM Code, and other quality assurance standards. Monitor charter party compliance and support voyage planning and cargo operations (if applicable). Prepare reports and documentation for internal use and client communication. Assist in emergency response coordination and incident reporting as required. Working Conditions: Office-based role with occasional travel to vessels, shipyards, or client offices. May involve on-call availability during vessel emergencies or operational disruptions. Preferred Qualifications: Seagoing experience as a deck or engine officer (preferred but not mandatory). Familiarity with PSC, vetting inspections, and classification society requirements. Training in ISM/ISPS, MLC, or internal auditing.
