Job Description: We are looking for a Concept & Matte Painting Artist with strong storyboarding skills to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will conceptualize visual environments, create high-quality matte paintings, and develop storyboards for immersive virtual content tailored for corporate events. This role demands artistic vision, technical proficiency, and an understanding of event aesthetics to bring innovative ideas to life. Key Responsibilities: Concept Development: Collaborate with creative directors and event designers to develop visual concepts for event environments, stage backdrops, and virtual spaces. Generate quick concept sketches and mood boards for client approvals. Matte Painting: Create high-quality digital matte paintings for virtual environments, scenic backgrounds, and projection visuals used in corporate events. Integrate matte paintings seamlessly into 3D environments and compositing workflows. Storyboarding: Develop detailed storyboards for event content, ensuring alignment with the event theme, narrative, and technical execution. Visualize event flow, camera angles, and animation sequences for virtual and LED-based content. Collaboration & Execution: Work closely with 3D artists, motion designers, and production teams to deliver cohesive visual content. Ensure assets are optimized for real-time rendering or post-production pipelines. Skills & Requirements: Proven experience in matte painting, concept art, and storyboarding (event industry experience preferred). Strong understanding of lighting, perspective, and composition . Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other digital painting tools ; knowledge of 3D software (Blender, Maya, or similar) is a plus. Familiarity with event visual content formats (LED screens, projection mapping, XR/AR setups). Ability to work in fast-paced environments with strict deadlines. Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts, Animation, VFX, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in similar roles (preferably in events, VFX studios, or creative agencies). Show more Show less
