Job Description

You will play a crucial role in developing and delivering Behaviour Change/Mental Health content and Sports Psychology curricula for the Health Professional Programs at the School of Health Sciences. The focus will be on teaching Behaviour Change/Mental Health across various disciplines such as exercise, physiotherapy, dietetics, and pharmacy, as well as teaching Sports Psychology within the Exercise Physiology program. In addition to teaching responsibilities, you will be expected to conduct high-quality research as part of your Teaching and Research role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and deliver content for Behaviour Change/Mental Health and Sports Psychology curricula - Conduct high-quality research in relevant areas - Teach and design courses at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels - Implement educational technologies and online delivery methods **Qualifications Required:** For Level B Education Focused Role: - Completed PhD in a related discipline (Exercise or Psychology/Behaviour Change) - Experience in sub-disciplinary areas of exercise behaviour change, mental health, and health/sport psychology - Knowledge of teaching and learning design, development, and delivery - Familiarity with educational technologies and online delivery methods For Level C Education Focused Role (in addition to the above): - Significant experience in teaching and learning design using various pedagogical approaches - Evidence of teaching excellence and curriculum development - Professional development in teaching and a strong track record of fostering excellence in learning and teaching For Level B Teaching & Research Role: - PhD in a related discipline (Exercise or Psychology/Behaviour Change) - Experience in teaching, research, and curriculum development - Ability to interact with the profession and industry for research funding For Level C Teaching & Research Role (in addition to the above): - Extensive experience in teaching and learning design - Track record of teaching excellence and curriculum development - Demonstrated success in research with high-quality outcomes Please note that Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and candidates must have full rights to work in Australia.
