Key Responsibilities

  • Teaching and Curriculum Development:
  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and workshops in hospital administration and related subjects (e.g., healthcare management, policy development, quality assurance).
  • Design, develop, and update curriculum to align with current trends and standards in hospital administration.
  • Evaluate students’ performance through assignments, exams, and projects.
  • Research and Scholarly Activities:
  • Conduct research in hospital administration, healthcare systems, or related fields.
  • Publish research papers in reputed journals and present findings at conferences.
  • Mentor students in research projects and dissertations.
  • Academic Advising and Mentorship:
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students for academic and professional growth.
  • Support students in internships, placements, and career planning.
  • Administration and Coordination:
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to administrative tasks, such as organizing seminars and workshops.
  • Liaise with healthcare institutions to facilitate partnerships and student training opportunities.
  • Community and Professional Engagement:
  • Engage with healthcare organizations to stay updated on industry practices and advancements.
  • Represent the department at academic and professional forums.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Educational Qualification:
  • A master’s degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), Healthcare Management, or a related field (a Ph.D. is preferred).
  • Teaching certification (if applicable) is an advantage.
  • Professional Experience:
  • Fresher/1-3 years
  • Relevant work experience in hospital administration, healthcare management, or academia.
  • Experience in teaching or training in higher education is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of hospital operations, healthcare systems, and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using technology for teaching, research, and administration.
