About The Role We are currently seeking a Lecturer in Maths to join our Maths and English department at The Bedford College Group, As a Lecturer, you play an important role in the success of our students through: Teaching & Curriculum Delivery Plan, deliver, and assess Maths across a range of levels and qualifications, ensuring lessons meet awarding body standards and individual student needs, Student Support & Progress Monitoring Provide tutorials, track progress, and maintain accurate records to help students achieve their potential and meet academic targets, Curriculum Innovation & Enrichment Contribute to curriculum development, create engaging learning materials, and enhance learning through vocational links and real-world opportunities, Professional Engagement & Leadership Participate in team meetings, quality assurance, marketing events, andif qualifiedlead curriculum initiatives, mentor staff, and manage courses, Compliance & Continuous Development Uphold safeguarding, equality, and health and safety standards, while engaging in ongoing professional development and training, About You Qualifications & Subject Expertise Relevant degree or Level 5 qualification in maths, GCSEs in English and Maths (grades AC), and willingness to gain a teaching qualification and assessor credentials, Teaching Experience & Technical Skills Recent experience teaching and assessing Level 2+ maths courses, with strong subject knowledge and confident use of Microsoft Office tools, Inclusive Practice & College Values Proven ability to promote equality and diversity, work with diverse groups, and embody the Colleges values of Student Focus, High Performance, Respect, Openness, and Honesty, Professionalism & Communication Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills; able to build positive relationships, meet deadlines, and represent the College professionally, Commitment & Flexibility Dedicated to safeguarding, continuous development, and flexible working across College locations, with a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle, For a more detailed breakdown of the job role and the requirements, please see the Job Description attached to this vacancy, Interviews to be held: 16 July 2025 Successful candidates must also be able to demonstrate alignment to our organisational VISION values:
