Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and motivated Lecturer/Reader in Anatomy to join our academic team. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum development, research, and academic mentorship in the field of human anatomy. Key Responsibilities: Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials on gross anatomy, histology, embryology, and neuroanatomy to MBBS, BDS, and allied health science students. Guide students in anatomical dissection and laboratory work. Develop and update course materials in line with current medical education standards. Participate in curriculum design, exam setting, evaluation, and academic planning. Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student research projects. Engage in high-quality research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Contribute to departmental administration, quality assurance, and continuous academic improvement. Participate in faculty development and outreach activities. Collaborate with clinical departments and contribute to interdisciplinary teaching. Qualifications: For Lecturer: MBBS, MD /M.Sc. in Medical Anatomy from a recognized institution. Teaching or research experience in a medical college preferred. For Reader: MD in Anatomy /M.Sc. PhD in Medical Anatomy with at least 5 years of teaching/research experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent. Proven research record with publications in indexed journals. Skills & Competencies: Strong teaching and communication skills. Proficiency in using technology for teaching (LMS, digital anatomy tools, etc.). Research aptitude with evidence of publications and academic contribution. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and administrative staff. Commitment to ethical practices in education and research. Desirable Qualifications (Optional): PhD in Medical Anatomy Experience in curriculum development and academic leadership.
