Role & responsibilities Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HR & Contracts Specialist to manage the dual responsibilities of human resources and contract administration in our US Staffing business. The ideal candidate will excel in employee lifecycle management, payroll, compliance, and drafting and reviewing contracts. Key Responsibilities: Human Resources: Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Track and manage employee attendance , leaves , and breaks , including LOP calculations . Prepare and share offer letters and ensure a smooth hiring process. Develop and maintain HR policies , regulations , and employee guidelines. Create and process detailed salary breakdowns , including tax calculations. Ensure compliance with Indian tax laws , including TDS , Income Tax , and Professional Tax , in payroll and salary calculations. Maintain strong communication skills to address employee queries and provide support. Negotiate effectively during salary discussions and employee-related agreements. Contracts Management: Draft, review, and finalize employment contracts , vendor agreements , and other legal documents. Ensure all contracts align with applicable labor laws and organizational policies. Manage renewals, amendments, and termination of contracts, maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with the legal and management teams to address contractual obligations and compliance requirements. Maintain confidentiality and manage contract-related risks effectively. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in HR roles with exposure to contract management . Strong understanding of Indian tax laws and payroll processing . Excellent knowledge of employment laws and best practices in HR. Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work during US shifts (6:00 PM IST to 2:00 AM IST). Familiarity with HR software for payroll, attendance, and leave management.
