Company Description Learning by Locals, a registered NGO, is located in Sanjay Colony, Okhla, an industrial area in Delhi. Initiated by Mr. Pradeep Kumar of Delhi by Locals, our mission is to educate and empower youth by honing their skills and providing opportunities to achieve their goals. We conduct classes for over 400 students aged 14 and above, seven days a week, focusing on disciplines like English, computer, theatre, music, dance, kathak and photography. Our safe space encourages students to express their aspirations and receive the guidance they need. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an English Teacher located in New Delhi. The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, creating educational content, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will also engage with students to promote their linguistic skills and foster a supportive learning environment. Qualifications Proficiency in English Teaching and Education Experience with Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development Strong Communication and Teaching skills Ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field Previous experience in a similar teaching role is preferred Commitment to the educational and emotional well-being of students
