As part of RI Factory Logistics, this role will support warehouse operations such as leading material review committee, supports warehouse inbound to outbound operation and logistics planning, also the candidate possesses basic knowledge in SAP warehouse management system. Basically, this role will continuously improve and enable warehouse operations from inbound to point of use for assembly processes. Responsibilities Efficiently handles material review committees (MRC), leads resolution on warehouse operations defective components Governs and executes shelf-life management for about 300 parts Leads built in quality (BIQ) for logistics operations Supports improvements in logistics processes through projects and Kaizen tasks Assists on SAP warehouse management system for operations Supports warehouse digitalization and technology initiatives Supports defect free warehouse transactions Supports warehouse compliance to ISO audits and internal inventory audits Skill Descriptors Accuracy and Attention to Detail Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Level Working Knowledge: Accurately gauges the impact and cost of errors, omissions, and oversights. Utilizes specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking outputs. Learns from mistakes and applies lessons learned from logistics transactions Develops and uses checklists to ensure that information goes out error-free. Demonstrates ability to learn SAP warehouse management systems Analytical Thinking Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems Makes a systematic comparison of two or more alternative solutions. Uses data stratification, flow charts, Pareto charts, fish diagrams, etc. to disclose meaningful data patterns. Uses logic and intuition to make inferences about the meaning of the data and arrive at conclusions. Logistics Management: Knowledge of logistics and management; ability to follow proper processes and run operations for effective and efficient movement of materials and finished products. Level Basic Understanding: Explains how improvements in logistics contribute to competitive advantage in the marketplace. Identifies issues and considerations for inbound and outbound logistics. Documents internal and external informative sources or proprietary materials about logistics management. Describes basic logistical processes and sub-processes. Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment. Uses effective decision-making approaches such as consultative, command, or consensus Ensures that assumptions and received wisdom are objectively analyzed in decisions Evaluates past decisions for insights to improve decision-making process Collaborates in analysing and synthesizing relevant data and assessing alternatives. Problem Solving Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives. Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder. Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information. Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution. Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Engineering (BE) / equivalent graduation/degree is a must 2 to 6 years of work experience in warehouse operations / warehouse management systems / inventory management in manufacturing industry Foundational knowledge in SAP WM / equivalent applications Good interpersonal skills for internal and cross functional collaboration DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Lean Deployment and 6Sigma Projects Microsoft 365, Power BI and Power Apps Relocation is available for this position.
