Role Overview: You will be part of a globally connected powerhouse at EY, where you will assist clients in meeting their reporting requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing valuable insights into accounting and reporting matters. Your role will involve providing exceptional audit activities for clients from diverse backgrounds, resolving complex issues, and influencing clients and engagement teams on impactful resolutions. Key Responsibilities: - Working in a team, getting to know clients, their businesses, and operations. - Interacting with clients to gather necessary data and information for audit purposes. - Supporting in planning, leading fieldwork, managing performance, and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagements. - Completing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas to enhance technical and business skills in areas such as loans, advances, investment portfolios, interest income, and regulatory requirements. - Analyzing financial statement data to ensure accuracy and fairness. - Building and maintaining productive relationships with client personnel. - Developing an understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing knowledge to mentor junior colleagues. Qualification Required: - Masters in Accounts, ACA/ACCA, or equivalent international qualification (preferably first-time passes). - Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. - Thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques. - Experience across the entire audit process. - Application of IFRS and local GAAP. - Track record of leading, planning, executing, and reporting on audits. - Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and a collaborative management approach. - Proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements. - Understanding of risk-based auditing, risk, and control strategies. - Understanding of Q&RM procedures. - Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements.
