You will play an integral role in creating system solutions that cater to the evolving needs of customers. Your responsibilities will include leading a small team and actively participating in all stages of the systems life cycle, from the initial business development phase to product end-of-life. Your key responsibilities will involve providing clear direction and feedback on tasks, hiring systems engineers, mentoring team members, and serving as a hands-on working leader. You will be responsible for scheduling, conducting performance evaluations, offering general oversight to work packages, coaching individuals, challenging them to think differently, and collaborating closely with the team. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics. We value candidates who possess knowledge of the systems development lifecycle, exhibit good business judgment, excel in leading diverse global teams, have advanced skills in systems, and can effectively convey subtle or complex messages to various audiences. Additionally, we appreciate individuals who demonstrate leadership in driving change, excel in multi-tasking, possess the ability to manage complicated tasks and people, and can intervene decisively to overcome obstacles and keep work efforts on track.
