Leader - Product and Platform Specialist

Role Overview: You are a Senior Product and Platform Specialist with expertise in data platforms and modern technology stacks such as BigQuery, PySpark, and Python. With at least 9 years of experience in a specialized technical or functional domain, you will demonstrate strong leadership, innovation, and accountability in strategic and hands-on responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Lead complex initiatives across product and platform teams, aligning with business and technical objectives. - Own decision-making within a significant area of work, including technical, financial, and quality aspects. - Work independently with minimal supervision, managing and meeting allocated team and/or technical goals. - Provide leadership in organizational and platform management by applying a wide range of technical and management principles. - Make high-impact decisions that influence milestones, delivery timelines, budget, quality, and performance. - Proactively assess and mitigate technical and operational risks. - Drive and execute highly complex activities across technical, financial, and quality dimensions. - Recommend and implement best-fit standards, tools, methods, and applications relevant to platform and product operations. - Effectively communicate across technical and non-technical audiences, from engineering teams to senior stakeholders. - Demonstrate creativity and innovation in crafting platform and product solutions for business challenges. - Lead requirements analysis, scope definition, and provide advisory for operational optimization. Qualifications Required: - Cloud Platform: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience, including Database Migration Service, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Compute Engine, and more. - Database skills in BigQuery, Cloud SQL, MS SQL Server, PostGreSQL, and Oracle 9i. - Proficiency in Python, Pyspark, Airflow, T-SQL, and PL/SQL. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, Waterfall project management. - Secondary skills in Java, Terraform for IaC, and DevOps tools like Jenkins, CI/CD, and Git.
