Job Summary Elmeasure India Pvt. Ltd., a leader in smart and sustainable energy management, is seeking a seasoned and strategic Material Manager with about 15 years of experience in vendor development, procurement and store management, preferably in the electrical or electronics manufacturing domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and optimizing the vendor development, ensuring cost-effective procurement of quality materials and services, supplier management, Inventory, material and aligning material management strategies with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage vendor, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules. Develop and implement robust procurement strategies aligned with business goals and budget constraints. Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and services for electrical and electronics manufacturing. Work closely with R&D, production, quality, and finance teams to ensure seamless coordination of purchasing activities. Monitor inventory levels and manage the stores to maintain optimal stock levels. Evaluate and manage vendor performance through regular audits and reviews. Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising on quality or lead times. Ensure timely procurement to support project and production timelines. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance using ERP systems. Stay up to date with market trends, pricing changes, and industry innovations. Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all procurement activities. Preferred candidate profile In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and sourcing strategies. Strong understanding of electrical and electronics components and supply chain dynamics. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills. Proficiency in ERP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven leadership experience with team management capabilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
