Lead Video Content Designer

As a Senior Motion Graphics Designer at Gameberry Labs, you will lead the end-to-end creation of video assets encompassing various formats such as UA videos, performance videos, trailers, cut-scenes, and social assets. Your role involves translating high-level creative briefs into visually compelling executions that align with both brand and user goals. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and brief illustrators, sound designers, and 3D artists to ensure alignment with the overall creative vision. Staying updated on emerging trends in motion design, sound design, storytelling formats, and AI video tools is crucial in order to bring fresh ideas and techniques to the table. Additionally, you will work with real-time engines like Unity to direct game-based content and integrate it seamlessly with traditional pipelines. Experimentation with generative tools, AI workflows, and creative automation will be key to unlocking new formats and enhancing creative velocity. Hands-on experience with tools such as After Effects, Audition, and Unreal Engine/Unity will be essential for optimizing workflows and delivering high-quality work efficiently. Furthermore, extracting and interpreting creative insights from data to inform asset direction and optimize visual storytelling for performance will be part of your responsibilities. Maintaining a strong sense of visual design including composition, typography, movement, and color across all outputs is imperative. As a mentor to junior designers, you will champion creative experimentation and collaborate with leadership to elevate the team's visual standards and creative ambition. A passion for gaming and a profound appreciation for the fusion of art and technology within the gaming industry are qualities that will drive your success in this role. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 8 years of professional experience in producing video content, showcasing expertise in 2D animation video creation. Proficiency in industry-standard 2D and 3D software is required, along with exceptional creative vision, storytelling skills, and a strong understanding of Motion Design and Visual design principles. Effective communication, collaboration skills, project management abilities, and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment are essential. A bachelor's degree in graphic design, animation, or a related field would be a valuable asset for this role.
