Lead Technical Consultant - Core Banking - Java Microservices

Role Overview: This role in the Banking Consulting team with Oracle provides you with the opportunity to leverage your technology knowledge and skills to work with the latest generation of Oracle Banking products built on cutting-edge architecture using the newest technologies. As a Technical Consultant, you will engage in Development, Implementation, or Managed Service activities. Your responsibilities will involve leading or participating as a Technical Lead in various tasks, supporting analysis, design, and implementation of solutions, coding programs as per specifications, ensuring high-quality code delivery, conducting proper handover at the completion of each assignment, and reporting promptly to supervisors. Key Responsibilities: - Lead or participate as a Technical Lead in Development, Implementation, or Managed Service activities like Migration, Testing support, and coordination with other Oracle teams. - Assist in the analysis, design, and implementation of solutions for diverse business requirements. - Develop programs according to given specifications/requirements within the scheduled timeline. - Ensure the delivery of quality code and conduct proper handover/knowledge transfer at the conclusion of each assignment. - Timely reporting of status to supervisors and submission of timesheets and expenses for Oracle/Clients. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in end-to-end Development, Implementation, or Support tasks encompassing expertise in customizations design, Coding, Unit testing, Test cycle completion, migrations, and Integrations for Oracle FLEXCUBE/Core banking products. - Knowledge and expertise in software programming using Core Java, J2EE, Microservices technologies, Spring Boot, Rest API, JavaScript, XML. Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (18c or 12c) is advantageous. - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field. - Solid understanding of Release management and Source control tools. - Strong client interaction skills, familiarity with software deployment and fixing on Application Server software, analysis of Oracle Database AWR/ADDM reports, knowledge of banking terminologies and concepts. - IT skills including Microsoft Office, Basic SQL querying. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. - Proactive mindset, readiness to take ownership, quick learner of new technologies, exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills. - Willingness to work offshore, travel to client sites, exposure to Banking Domain, software development processes and practices, DevOps tools, Testing tools, awareness of latest technologies in Banking.,
