Role Overview: Agoda, an online travel booking platform, is seeking ambitious and agile data scientists to join their Data Science and Machine Learning (AI/ML) team in Bangkok. As part of the team, you will work on challenging machine learning and big data projects, processing an impressive volume of events daily. The team focuses on dynamic pricing, customer intent prediction, search result ranking, content classification, personalization, algorithm-supported promotions, and more. You will have access to a large ML infrastructure and the opportunity to innovate the user experience. Key Responsibilities: - Design, code, experiment, and implement models and algorithms to enhance customer experience, business outcomes, and infrastructure readiness - Analyze a vast amount of customer data and user-generated events to derive actionable insights for improvements and innovation - Collaborate with developers and various stakeholders to deliver high-quality daily results - Research and explore new ideas that can drive positive change and make a difference Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of hands-on data science experience - Strong understanding of AI/ML/DL, Statistics, and proficiency in coding with open source libraries and frameworks - Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, and/or Scala - Ability to work independently, lead, and collaborate effectively in a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for a multicultural work environment Additional Company Details: Agoda, headquartered in Bangkok and part of Booking Holdings, fosters a diverse and collaborative work environment with employees from over 95 nationalities.
