Lead Software Engineer - Quality Assurance

As a Lead Software Engineer-Quality Assurance at Amplifi Capital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our fintech products by developing and implementing robust automation frameworks and strategies. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, you will lead the design and development of automated test scripts and test suites for web-based, API, and mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with software engineers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline, conducting thorough analysis of system requirements, performing hands-on testing of complex features, and mentoring junior members of the QA team. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 6-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a people management role. Strong programming and automation skills are essential, along with expertise in automation strategies, frameworks, and tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Appium, and PyTest. You should also have proven experience in designing and building automated test scripts and suites for various applications, collaborating with software engineers to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and analyzing system requirements to identify automation opportunities. Additionally, you should be skilled in functional, regression, and integration testing using both manual and automated techniques, proficient in tracking defects using tools like JIRA and TestRail/Zephyr, and up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in test automation. Effective communication and collaboration skills are crucial, along with demonstrated leadership experience and strong attention to detail.
