Role Overview: As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset & Wealth Management, you will play a crucial role in an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Key Responsibilities: - Executes creative software solutions, designs, develops, and troubleshoots technically with the ability to think innovatively and beyond conventional approaches. - Develops secure high-quality production code, conducts code reviews, and debugs code to ensure high standards. - Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues for enhancing the operational stability of software applications and systems. - Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical applicability. - Drives awareness and utilization of new technologies by leading communities of practice across Software Engineering. - Contributes to a team culture that promotes diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with a minimum of 5 years of applied experience. - Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages with a focus on automation and continuous delivery methods. - Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. - Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.). - In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems. - Practical experience in cloud-native technologies.,
