Your pivotal role involves developing and implementing essential technology solutions across various technical domains to support the firm's business objectives effectively. Your responsibilities will include acting as a technical contributor to deliver critical solutions across different business functions in alignment with the firm's goals. You will be responsible for creating secure, high-quality production code, reviewing and debugging code authored by colleagues, and identifying opportunities to automate or eliminate recurring issues to enhance the overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Additionally, you will lead evaluation sessions with other technology teams to facilitate outcome-oriented discussions on architectural designs, drive the adoption of new technologies within the Software Engineering community, and contribute to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. To excel in this role, you are required to have formal training or certification in software engineering concepts coupled with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience. You should possess knowledge of modern architectures, including microservices, REST APIs, NoSQL stores, and eventing, along with expertise in building Cloud-native applications and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS. Experience in overseeing the complete lifecycle of at least two large, complex application build-outs from inception to delivery for either a prominent financial organization or a top-tier technology product team is essential. Proficiency in CI/CD, DevOps toolchains, software monitoring, and a test-driven approach to agile delivery is expected. Furthermore, you should demonstrate strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate on multiple concurrent projects with fellow developers and analysts. An advanced understanding of Application Resiliency and Security, technical documentation using Swagger, and exposure to AI concepts and development assistance tools like Microsoft Copilot are highly advantageous. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience in developing High Availability system architectures and the ability to drive change and process improvements, including implementing necessary cultural transformations.,
