Job Description

As an Engineering Lead Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for leading various engineering activities such as designing, acquiring, and deploying hardware, software, and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to ensure that quality standards are met within the existing and planned framework. We are currently seeking a Cloud Data Analytics Platform Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on designing, building, and operating our modern data analytics platform across AWS, GCP, and Snowflake. You will work at the intersection of infrastructure, data engineering, and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and efficient data analytics capabilities for Citi's users. **Responsibilities:** - Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders - Provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives - Architect and implement cloud-native data analytics infrastructure and services across AWS, GCP, and Snowflake - Develop and manage IaC using Terraform, including modular patterns, CI/CD pipelines, etc - Build and maintain enterprise-grade data governance capabilities including integration with data catalog and lineage - Collaborate closely with data engineering, information security, and platform teams to define and enforce best practices for data infrastructure - Ensure that all integration of functions meet business goals - Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements - Recommend product customization for system integration - Identify problem causality, business impact, and root causes - Advise or mentor junior team members - Impact the engineering function by influencing decisions through advice, counsel, or facilitating services - Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made **Qualifications:** - 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role - AWS and/or GCP cloud-native services for data analytics (e.g., S3/GCS, Glue, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, SQS/SNS, MWAA/Composer, etc.) - Deep Snowflake administration expertise - Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and experience with GitOps-based pipelines - Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication - Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills - Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams - Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative - Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements - Proven track record of operational process change and improvement **Education:** - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Masters degree preferred If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use our search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, please review Accessibility at Citi.
