Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Job Title:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support and improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of our digital platforms. This role will focus on optimizing cloud infrastructure, reducing operational toil, and enhancing system resiliency through SRE best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and implement SRE framework.
• Conduct SRE assessments, identify gaps, and provide recommendations.
• Lead efforts to reduce technical debt and enhance infrastructure reliability.
• Optimize and automate operational support activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system problems efficiently.
• Collaborate with architects and product teams to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Define and track SLI, SLO, and SLA metrics for performance management.
• Act as a liaison between Business/Digital Platforms and IT Operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in Azure Cloud High-Performance Computing (HPC).
• Strong knowledge of Azure Virtual Machine Scale Sets, cloud management, and governance tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and software engineering best practices.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, YAML, and automation scripting.
• Hands-on experience with observability, monitoring, and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and database management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with C#.NET, Java, or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to drive SRE adoption and technical improvements across teams.
