Job Description

This role is responsible for delivering store layouts and design implantation packs for complex Tesco stores, with the goal of elevating the Tesco brand and enhancing the overall customer experience. The role combines retail planning and architectural expertise. You will be accountable for driving initiatives and delivering high-quality complex feasibility site layouts, mall plans, store layouts, and design implementation packs as per the store development programme using applications such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator. You will interpret architectural and construction drawings to deliver a comprehensive store planning solution and liaise with Store Planning Manager/country colleagues to ensure store layouts and designs align with the property strategy, offer a great customer and colleague experience, and adhere to legal requirements. Capturing and maintaining accurate store data records, working independently while maintaining high productivity, collaborating effectively within a team environment, and achieving project goals and organizational objectives are essential aspects of this role. Identifying and mitigating potential risks, facilitating approval governance, building team capability, and developing training content will also be part of your responsibilities. Championing a continuous improvement culture, spotting opportunities for process enhancement, staying updated with the latest retail market trends and technology, fostering positive relationships across teams, and celebrating achievements are key elements of this role. Following the Business Code of Conduct, acting with integrity and due diligence, completing tasks within agreed KPIs, and demonstrating excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are crucial for success. The ideal candidate should have a preferred Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Interior Design/Civil Engineering, 7+ years of experience in the relevant field, expertise in delivering planning and design for retail projects, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and Adobe software.
