Lead - Realistic Character Design (Modeling & Texturing)

As a Lead Realistic Character Design, your role will involve leading the creation of lifelike 3D characters for cinematic and VFX projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality and consistency across all character assets by combining artistic excellence with leadership. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and mentor a team of character artists. - Design and develop realistic 3D characters from concept to production. - Ensure optimized topology and photorealistic textures. - Collaborate with concept, rigging, and technical teams for seamless integration. - Establish best practices and improve character pipelines. **Qualifications Required:** - 7+ years of experience in character design (film/games/VFX), with at least 2 years in a lead role. - Expertise in Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop. - Strong knowledge of anatomy, topology, and texturing. - Familiarity with rendering engines such as Arnold, V-Ray, and Unreal. - Portfolio showcasing realistic character work. In addition, experience with grooming tools like XGen or Ornatrix is a plus. Knowledge of facial blendshapes and FACS-based workflows, along with a background in traditional art or sculpture, is highly valued.
