Lead R&D Architect - IoT & Communication

This is a full-time on-site role for an R&D Engineer IOT & Communication at Torqon Power Drives Pvt Limited in Coimbatore. As an R&D Engineer, your main responsibilities will include research and development, testing, product development, and utilizing analytical skills to drive innovation in IOT & Communication technologies. You will be leading the research, design, and development of IoT-based systems with robust backend cloud integration. Additionally, you will design and implement real-time communication systems for IoT devices using protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, HTTP/REST, and WebSockets. It will be your responsibility to develop secure and scalable cloud solutions for real-time data storage, analytics, and device management. Your role will also involve optimizing communication between IoT devices and the cloud to ensure minimal latency and high reliability. Collaboration with hardware and software teams to integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT will be essential. You will need to ensure the seamless flow of real-time data from IoT devices to cloud dashboards and mobile applications. Furthermore, you will be designing and implementing APIs to enable efficient interaction between cloud systems and IoT devices. Ensuring the security and compliance of IoT systems, including data encryption, authentication, and access control, will be crucial. Preparation of detailed technical documentation, including system architecture, test plans, and operational guidelines, will also fall under your responsibilities. It is important to keep up with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance system performance and scalability.
