Lead - Quant Model Validator

As a Model Validator at Ameriprise India LLP, you will be responsible for executing model validation activities for low- and moderate-risk models. This includes conducting validation, annual reviews, ongoing monitoring, findings management, and model use approvals. You may also assist in testing and validating higher risk models, reviewing the conceptual soundness of models, and assessing their limitations and suitability for use. Your knowledge in key model areas such as Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Statistical and Stochastic processes, or Insurance and Actuarial Modeling will be essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct finding closures, annual reviews, and model change validations for low-, moderate-, and high-risk models. - Collaborate with model owners and developers to promote best practices and resolve questions or deficiencies. - Support administrative activities like planning book of work, adhoc reviews, and peer coaching. - Uphold model governance policies and procedures, templates, and risk reporting. - Provide level 2 technical support to business stakeholders. Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of experience with a master's degree or 1-2 years with a PhD in model risk management in banking or insurance.
