Lead Python Fullstack Developer

You will be joining Qualcomm India Private Limited, working in the Information Technology Group as an IT Software Developer. Qualcomm is at the forefront of enabling global connectivity through 5G and AI innovations, impacting multiple industries and billions of people daily. As part of the engineering team, you will focus on designing and delivering distributed software solutions for core engineering teams involved in Chipset design lifecycle. Your role will involve integrating applications with various SoC systems, requiring a strong understanding of the semiconductor domain. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing software solutions for chipset design planning, execution, and optimization. - Collaborating with global teams to define project requirements and deliverables. - Ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions meeting business objectives and customer needs. - Implementing best practices for software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and automated testing. - Leading a team of software developers, providing mentorship and guidance for professional growth. - Cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team. You are expected to have: Must: - Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving. - Hands-on programming experience with Python, with expertise in Numpy, Pandas, and multithreading/processing. - Strong understanding of Angular frameworks. - Expertise in designing scalable Microservices. - Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL Databases, especially Mongo DB. - Experience with Elastic Search. - Experience working in a distributed team and mentoring junior team members. - Knowledge of SoC development process and the semiconductor domain. Desirable: - Experience with Search frameworks like Lucene, Apache SOLR, or Elastic Search. - Familiarity with websockets or service workers. - Experience in building statistical data visualizations. - Knowledge of GCP/Bigquery. Education Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience is required. Minimum Qualifications: - 6+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8+ years without a Bachelor's degree. - 2+ years of experience leading projects/programs.
