As a Java Tech Lead at BMC, you will play a vital role in project design to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance are met. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing new features, maintaining existing features, troubleshooting complex technical problems, implementing methodologies, processes & tools, initiating projects for team improvement, and on-boarding and mentoring new employees. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop new features using Java - Maintain existing features by adding improvements and fixing defects in complex areas - Troubleshoot complex technical problems in development and production - Implement methodologies, processes & tools - Initiate projects and ideas to improve the team's results - On-board and mentor new employees Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in Java Backend development - Experience as a Backend Tech Lead with Scala knowledge - Proficiency in Spring, Swagger, and REST API - Familiarity with Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes - Passion for problem-solving and technology - Strong team player with good communication skills in English Nice to have skills that the team can help you develop: - Public Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP - Programming languages such as Python, Node.js, C/C++ - Knowledge of Automation Frameworks like Robot Framework At BMC, you will be part of a culture that values its people and encourages diversity.
