Lead Platform Automation Engineer

As a Lead Platform Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining test automation frameworks. You will contribute to the design of test data management practices and develop tools to support test infrastructure. Your role will involve working closely with engineering teams to create scalable, high-performance testing solutions. By applying modern testing techniques, you will ensure that quality standards are met across all environments. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle, and promote the adoption of shift-left testing practices. Your contributions will also include building robust CI/CD pipelines to enable fast feedback and continuous delivery of quality software. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement test automation frameworks - Contribute to the design of test data management practices - Develop tools to support test infrastructure - Work closely with engineering teams to create high-performance testing solutions - Mentor junior engineers - Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle - Support the adoption of shift-left testing practices - Build robust CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback and continuous delivery - Ensure quality standards are met across all environments Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study, or equivalent relevant work experience - Minimum 8 years of related work experience - Preferred qualifications include 12+ years of related work experience Skills Required: - Agile Methodology - Scripting Languages (Java Script) - Test Automation (Cypress) - Test Data Management - CI/CD - Cloud Platform & Infrastructure testing - Version Control (Git) - Monitoring Tools - Debug Tools - Multitasking - Problem Solving - Communication In terms of the work environment, you can expect a normal office environment with a hybrid setup.
