Lead Node.js Developer

As a Lead Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design, architecture, and development of scalable backend systems using Node.js. Your role will involve defining coding standards, enforcing best practices, and ensuring high code quality. Additionally, you will oversee deployment pipelines, version control, and DevOps processes to deliver high-quality solutions on time. You will be expected to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while conducting detailed code reviews and integrating APIs, databases, and external services efficiently. Application security, performance, and responsiveness will be key areas of focus in your development and delivery responsibilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver robust backend solutions. You will mentor and support junior and mid-level developers, manage deliverables, timelines, and project priorities ensuring successful project outcomes. To excel in this role, you should have 8+ years of backend development experience with expert-level proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and asynchronous programming. Strong experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks is required. Proficiency in RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL, advanced database skills, familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms, as well as knowledge of microservices architecture, message queues, and caching systems are essential. A strong understanding of testing, Git-based version control, and Agile methodologies, combined with excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills, will be crucial for success in this position.,
