Lead Network Engineer

You are an experienced Network Lead: L2/ L3 Engineer with 8-10 years of experience, seeking a Full-time position at Gurugram/ Nykaa Tech Centre. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network infrastructure utilizing Cisco, Fortinet, and Aruba wireless devices to ensure reliable and secure networking environments. This may include various environments such as offices, warehouses, and retail stores. You will be responsible for planning and executing comprehensive network deployment projects, including work planning, scheduling, metrics tracking, training, and resource management. Your role will involve configuring and managing routers, switches, and other network devices for high availability, redundancy, and scalability, ensuring optimal routing and switching configurations. In addition, you will implement and manage FortiGate, Palo Alto firewalls to secure network infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve issues with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching configurations (VLAN, trunking), and network devices (routers, switches). Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure the smooth integration of new technologies into the existing network infrastructure. Your duties will include monitoring network performance, identifying bottlenecks, resolving issues, and making recommendations based on network performance analysis and data insights. You will also be responsible for implementing and supporting Cisco, Aruba, Juniper wireless solutions, configuring routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and VLAN configurations. Furthermore, you will work with Aruba ClearPass for advanced network access control, implement Fortinet's FortiSIEM/Analyzer for centralized logging and monitoring, and provide mentorship and technical training to L1 and L2 engineers on Aruba and Fortinet technologies. You will also assist in creating and maintaining knowledge bases and technical documentation for internal use, ensuring well-documented network configurations and procedures. Your job requirements include 8-10 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with at least 6 years in operational support or management roles in networking. You should have technical expertise in troubleshooting skills, SD-WAN, LAN segmentation, Cisco switches, routers, wireless devices, firewalls, Riverbed bandwidth optimizers, F5 Load Balancers, and NetScaler. Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP are mandatory, along with experience in configuring and managing FortiGate firewalls and Cisco ASA firewalls. Additionally, you should have experience with Aruba Wireless solutions, managing wireless networks, and familiarity with Fortinet's FortiSIEM/Analyzer. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to identify potential network failures and provide solutions proactively. Collaboration skills, knowledge base creation, and technical documentation contributions are also desirable.,
