Lead Network Engineer

As the Lead Network Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and designing the network infrastructure, including installation, setup/configuration, troubleshooting, tuning, and maintenance of networking and related equipment as per the tender specifications. Your technical expertise will be crucial in designing, deploying, and maintaining the IT network infrastructure, ensuring administration of access protection, audit controls, system recovery methods, breach prevention, and conducting awareness training. Your Key Responsibilities will include: - Managing and administering Palo Alto firewall environments in alignment with IT security policy - Administering Cisco WSA and managing Cisco Core Switches and HP Wireless system - Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting network issues, scheduling upgrades - Securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access - Conducting data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments - Maintaining network uptime and adhering to SLA limits - Ensuring compliance with the change management system and documenting/approving all network infrastructure changes Your Mandatory Skills should include: - Strong expertise in Enterprise Routing and Switching Environment, 3 layer Network Architecture, Wireless Networks (Cisco/Aruba) - Knowledge of data network equipment software/version upgrades to the latest stable firmware releases - Proficiency in firewall administration (Palo Alto, Cisco FTD/ASA) and hands-on experience with Cisco Iron Port proxy servers - Experience with network configuration management and monitoring tools Your Competency Requirements will involve: - Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities - Effective planning, organizing, and time management skills Mandatory Certifications: - CCNA/CCNP: Cisco Certification - PCNSA/PCNSE: Palo Alto Certifications Please note that the company is located in Trivandrum, Kerala, India.
