Lead Network Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in IoT, Smart City solutions, Datacenter and Cloud Networks, and cybersecurity . The ideal candidate will work on a variety of cutting-edge technology infrastructure projects across India, with a central base in Hyderabad or Gurgaon. This role requires significant travel and extends on-site presence to ensure successful execution of nationwide deployments. Roles and Responsibilities Design, plan, and implement end-to-end networking architectures for Smart City and IoT-based solutions. Lead deployment and integration of wired and wireless networks, sensors, surveillance systems, and communication layers. Execute on-prem and cloud-based datacenter and network projects, including infra sizing and solution estimation. Ensure the integrity and security of the entire IT ecosystemnetworks, servers, and applications. Oversee on-site project execution across India, liaising with local stakeholders and vendors. Provide hands-on technical leadership for troubleshooting, configuration, and performance tuning. Manage and maintain network documentation, security protocols, and compliance standards. Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology with client objectives. Train client and internal teams on network usage and security best practices. Desired Skills/Background Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field. 12+ years of progressive experience in Network Engineering, including Smart City or IoT projects. Strong hands-on experience in: Network architecture (LAN/WAN/WLAN), IoT integrations, Cloud and on-premises datacenter deployments, Firewalls, routers, and security software, Cybersecurity and ethical hacking best practices Proven ability to lead and deliver in complex and large-scale infrastructure projects. Willingness and ability to travel extensively and remain on-site as per project requirement
