Lead Mould Designer

As a Lead Mould Designer, you should have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Industrial Design, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the Aerospace or Defence industry. Your qualification should include a B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Design from CIPET. Your expertise should cover knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Fabrication, Machining, Tolerances, and GD & T. You should also be well-versed in Engineering materials and have proficiency in CAD software like Solid Edge / NX, as well as hands-on experience with Catia and Microsoft Office tools. Familiarity with Aerospace/Defence manufacturing standards and knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes are also essential. In this role, your responsibilities will include leading design projects, conducting technical discussions with stakeholders, studying design inputs and deliverables to plan activities, arranging design reviews and gathering feedback from stakeholders, creating engineering bills of material, generating new concepts and feasibility studies, and implementing them.
